I love this series!!! It starts out with Kathleen being a bit too naive and innocent, but stick with it cause she grows. The stories are terrific, sometimes predictable, but always engaging. I have been thoroughly entertained by each new book, the end of the third had me desperate for the next!
There is of course a love triangle between a couple yummy brothers. On one hand you have the serious protective Blane, on the other is dark and dangerous Kade! Oh please, let this become a menage, in books a girl should not have to choose!!! I might read a little too much Erotic Romance...but a girl can dream! And on that note, the steam is a touch hotter than the average mainstream read!! Oh girl, it gets rather smexxxy!!
Almost the whole series is solely from Kathleen's POV, I really wish we had more of the guys' thoughts, there are a few pockets of Blane and Kade, but they are rare. I really want to know what goes on in their heads, especially when they have shared looks that seem more like a conversation. There is a novella out from Blane's POV and one coming for Kade, I guess those will have to be enough.
If you have not tried these book you should definitely check them out. I mixed things up doing both audio and ebook, either option is terrific!! Once you get reading you will be up until 3am just to finish, seriously addictive!! So, if you like romance, heart stopping suspense, smexy scenes and loads of story drama, this is a series to pick up!! Each book grabs you and doesn't let you go until it has put you through a wringer!
