Wow!! What a great read!! I loved it from beginning top end!! I am super excited this is actually the start of a series!! Can not wait for more books!!
A really well thought out world with so many wonderful quirks! Most paranormals have the supernaturals either totally in the closet or have outed them. This book has them on the cusp, they are starting neighborhoods together and are keeping it down low but are tired of hiding.It is kind of funny that even though they are out people still don't believe! I love teh idea of their won TV Network as well!
I loved Alexi from the start! She is just the right kind of sassy spunky gal! She was endearing and relateable the whole time, even thought she is a vamp!
And Greg is delicious!! He isn't the typical chest beating Alpha werewolf. He has depth and sweetness along with his strength! And I love the post shift steamy twist!Yummilicious!
I love it when Weres and Vamps get together cause it is such an odd pairing and yet not really. It is the whole opposites attract syndrome that I adore!
The secondary characters in this book are awesome as well. I can not wait to get more stories and dish in this supernatural cul de sac! Love that this series is not sticking tow just the big two supernaturals and we will get all sorts of other paranormals in the mix.
The side story flows nicely and never slows the pace of the book. I love a good romance wrapped around a mystery!
The steam factor here was really enjoyable. It could have been a touch steamier but I'm not mad about what Ms Abshire delivered. I would not mind a welcome present like Alexi received!! The yummy hot and heavy action kept me rather warm!
This is another new author for me and I am so happy I gave her a shot. I will admit I almost passed cause the cover did not really grab me, do not make that mistake!! It is a great read and with fabulous story telling!
