Wow, what a great kick off to a really intriguing series. I can not wait to read more.

The characters are engaging and dynamic through out the book. I was drawn to leads, Nicole and Gunner, as well as the supporting cast. Definitely a good sign for the rest of the series. I can not wait to see what is in store for the other gals! Each character was a delight to read and relateable even in a fantasy read.

Gunner is deliciously Alpha, just what I look for in a Demon hunk! Oh Hells Yeah!! Nicole is a perfect match for him as she is a spunky gal who is more than his match! And these two are combustible in a major way!!

Yeah, the steam factor is wicked!! I can never resist a smexy paranormal romance! This one will have you begging for a stiff drink and a cold shower!!

The story outside of the romance is terrific as well. Steady pace and plenty of action spicing up the story. I was on the edge through the fights and loved the suspense! There are so many places this series can still go.

This is my first read from Ms Kay and I am easily a fan! I am definitely hooked on these books and would love to see them pop up in audio! That way I could enjoy listening as much as I did reading!

The second book in the series is just as exciting and delicious as the first!!

I loved Brooke in the first book and was thrilled she would be the focus of this one!! She is just a really awesome chick with loads of sass!! Enter a yummy Alpha Demon, Kai, who is perfect for her!!

I love the books where they try to fight an obvious attraction. It makes the getting together all the sweeter! Oh, yeah, the steam is hot as Hades!!!! I need a few ice daggers to cool me off!

Once again it is a stellar well developed plot, engaging and dynamic characters, in a fabulously creative world. This is one of those series I drool over. I can not wait to see the other sisters books!! I am sure they will be just as smexy!!

I love all the characters in this series. They are the biggest thing drawing readers back. And each book goes deeper into the world and introduces more wonderful supporting cast! There is a great mix of types good, evil and decidedly grey.

The pace of the read is steady with just the right mix of story, steam and fighting action. I would love to see these in audiobooks as I am sure they would be exciting to listen to at the gym!

Can't wait for the next book, which I hear is releasing soon!!

About this author

Sharon Kay was bitten early by the writing bug. At age twelve she wrote a short story, about a magic ring, that won a statewide contest. With her nose always in a book, she read the most novels for her age group in her local library’s summer reading program.

In her teens, writing took a back seat to fashion, as she was determined to find clothes different from what everyone else bought at the mall. And what she couldn’t find, she created. She learned to sew, worked in a fabric store after school, and spent her spare time with a needle in hand. Her black and orange prom dress is still one of her favorite creations.

Sharon lives in the Chicago area with her husband and son, and didn’t expect to write again. But Wicked Wind and the Solsti series formed in her head one weekend and refused to stay quiet until she put pen to paper. Her characters tend to keep her up at night, as they banter, fall in love, and slay endless varieties of power-hungry demons.
