Really interesting Romantic Suspense. The pace of the story was smooth and engaging. I really liked the characters for the most part. Evie took a little getting used to, but when she found her stride I really enjoyed her spunky attitude! Nick is really quite delicious!! I loved their dynamic!
The supporting cast is really fantastic, I was laughing a lot this book! A really delightfully crafted tale that takes you on an adventure from page one!! I could not put it down!
The steam is rather light, ok not really any yummy details at all. I like my romances spicier, a balance of story and steam work best for me. While the story was on point, the steam was luke-warm, at best.
I can'y wait to see what happens next for these two!! Ms Millhouse is definitely an author to watch!!

Another well crafted tale from Ms Millhouse! Be sure to read the first book before this one, it will make the story flow better, plus you don't want nasty spoilers when you read the first book!
I love the characters in these books both the main couple and all the supporting cast, very well developed. They are all so engaging and dynamic, it helps move the story along.
There are some things in the story that seem unrealistic, but they are easy to overlook. Overall it is a delightfully entertaining read that takes the first book to another level. I was so into the story and where the plot was headed I almost forgot it was a romance. That was more backburner to the suspense unfolding.
You'll laugh out loud when you're not on the end of your seat!! Ms Millhouse is on my watch list now!! I hope she has many more books in the works!

Paula Millhouse grew up in Savannah, Georgia where Spanish moss whispers tales in breezes from the Atlantic Ocean, and the Intracoastal Waterway. As a child Paula soaked in the sunshine and heritage of cobblestones, pirate lore, and stories steeped in savory mysteries of the south.
