The Summer is great for quick reads! At the beach, on the road trip to vacation or wherever!
Some of my current favorite quick reads are the 1Night Stand books from Decadent Publishing. They are short books that are more story than sex. Surprising in the whole dating service for one night of sex premise. Happily theses stories have much more heart than one would expect. The mysterious Madame Eve sets up couples on supposed one time dates that end up being soulmates! And the stories are solid! Every genre you could think of to take you away from reality!
Here are a few of my favorites-
Heather Long's Always a Marine series, everyone is a hit!! Love them! Yummy men in uniform! And she really hits on issues soldiers face after returning from active duty.
Jennifer Probst's Steele Brothers series, hot and heavy Vegas Action!!
Jennifer E. Subject's Intergalactic Heat series, delicious Sci-fi reads!!
Taryn Kincaid's Sleepy Hollow series, sexy paranormal fun!!

Yeah, I read loads of Romance. They just put you in a happy place and are way more hopeful than the world today. I try to mix it up with a serious read or a YA every now and again.

DeleteI haven't read that many of them, although I own quite a few. So far, fromt he ones I have read, Power Play by Emily Cale is my favorite. But then I love hockey players, so that may explain why

ReplyDeleteNot sure if these books classify as 1NS books, but they are amazing and hot romances. Chocolate Lovers series by Tara Sivec is awesome. I laughed so hard at times I had tears in my eyes. Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley is legendary for me (mostly everything by Kristen Ashley). Line of Duty series (Tessa Bailey), Back to You (Priscilla Glenn), Bagram Special Ops series (Kaylea Cross), Last Chance Rescue series (Christy Reece), Chinooks Hockey Team series (Rachel Gibson), Just the Sexiest Man Alive (Julie James), Black Ops series (Cindy Gerard), Tall, Dark & Dangerous series is another legendary series for me (Suzanne Brockmann), Titanium Security series (Kaylea Cross), Semper Fi series (Jeanette Murray), Firefighters of Station Five (Jo Davis), Hold Trilogy (Stephanie Tyler)... I wonder why there are so many "men in uniform" books on my read list, hmmm... LOL :D

Jessica E. Subject's Intergalactic Heat series is my favorite, but I haven't read all of them. I have a large number of the 1NS books, so I can read them when I'm waiting at the Dr's office or on my lunch. Since they are short, I can read several of them a week during my 30 minute lunch break.
